What is IMC Membership?
The society has over 7,000 individual investment professionals as its members. Many are, and will become, industry leaders. As well as administering the IMC, the society supports ASIP, CFA and IMC investment professionals with an active professional development programme,
Professional Investor - the society's quarterly journal - and with a CFA support programme for candidate members.
Joining the CFA Society of the UK as an IMC member enables you to:
- use the designating letters 'IMC' on your business correspondence
- network with investment professionals, at all levels, at a range of society events
- participate in an active professional development programme
- receive the quarterly member journal,
Professional Investor
- access the members areas of the website
- help shape the future development of the society, and thereby have an influence on the wider investment industry
To be an IMC member, you must:
- have passed the full Investment Management
Certificate (IMC) examination, Or,
- have passed both of the two units,
which make up the IMC, Or,
- have passed either of the two units, and have passed a qualification
recognised as equivalent to the remaining unit.
Any CFA UK member who
satisfies these criteria may use the designatory letters, IMC, provided
their membership remains fully paid up.
