In order to take the examination, you must present one of the accepted forms of identification:
- a valid signed national passport, OR,
- a valid signed UK photo drivers licence, OR,
- a valid signed UK photo provisional drivers licence.
Please note that European photo identification cards are not currently accepted as a form of identification.
Important: If you do not bring an acceptable identity document you will not be
permitted to take the test. You will have to re-register and pay for a new test
slot on another day, this time bringing an acceptable identity
document.
The name and date of birth on your
identification must exactly match the name you
provided when you registered for the IMC. The test centre staff have no discretion to waive or vary the identification rules.
If you cannot present the appropriate identification on the day of your exam, please immediately contact Education Manager,
